Kevin Etzkorn
Strategic Advisor

Mr. Etzkorn is a principal at CID Capital in Columbus, Ohio. Formerly, Mr. Etzkorn spent thirteen years in the U.S. Navy in a variety of roles. Most recently he served as a Nuclear Engineer and Communications Officer aboard the Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine USS ALASKA where he was responsible for the establishment and management of their Information Technology Department. Mr. Etzkorn also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Naval Science at the University of Illinois. He received a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an MBA from the University of Illinois.

Judy Kim
Strategic Advisor

Ms. Kim is a private practice securities attorney. Previously, she was Director of Multimedia and Information Technologies at the New York University Office of Industrial Liaison where she steered patent application and prosecution, negotiated licenses and equity transactions, and formed companies based on university patents. Ms. Kim also worked closely with many of her counterparts at university and government technology transfer offices as well as with corporate licensing offices. She began her career as a structured finance specialist at the law firm of Brown & Wood closing over fifty such transactions. Ms. Kim received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her BA from Columbia College.

Daniel Mintz
Strategic Advisor

Mr. Mintz was for over twenty years a market maker on the American Stock Exchange. During this time he served as Managing Partner of Cambridge Options where he developed a wide range of options trading models. Mr. Mintz also acted as an Exchange Official sitting on several committees as well as on the Discipline Panel. Prior to joining the financial sector, he was a Professor of Mathematics and of Computer Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Mintz holds a BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD from the Courant Institute at New York University.

Michael Riley
Strategic Advisor

Mr. Riley is a Managing Director of TD Securities. TD appointed him to this position upon its acquisition of Letco Trading, a leading equity options trading firm, of which Mr. Riley was a Managing Partner and of which he was pivotal in selling. Within a five-year period at Letco, Mr. Riley expanded the New York Specialist Group to thirty people. The New York Specialist Group became the second highest-ranking firm in broker satisfaction on the American Stock Exchange, and one of Letco's most profitable units. Mr. Riley has been an Exchange Official since 1996 and currently serves on several committees including Member Performance as well as the Technology and Institutional Advisory Committees. Mr. Riley earned a BS from the University of Connecticut.

Ira Weiss
Strategic Advisor

Mr. Weiss is a Professor of Accounting at Columbia Business School. He has conducted extensive research in the area of tax, focusing on whether mutual fund managers take into account shareholder-level taxes when buying and selling securities. In the area of financial accounting, he has studied whether the relevance of financial reports has changed over time, and he currently is investigating how firms use discretion to manipulate financial reports. Mr. Weiss teaches the core accounting course and has regularly been awarded high student approval ratings. Together with a finance professor colleague, he also directs a sixty-person angel network. Mr. Weiss holds a BS from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and an MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago.
